What’s your favorite way to de-stress?

For me, the ocean, nature is a cure, magical healing happens when I’m truly in one with the moment. In fact, according to the BLUE ZONE research, people who spends time in nature are happier than those who doesn’t
When I allow myself to ‘just be’, releasing the need to ‘do,’ that’s when I’m in balance and all the stress seems to disappear.
I’m driven by the PITTA element (FIRE | WATER) in Ayurveda, when the fire kicks in it’s hard for me to stop. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In fact, I’m most stressed when things are out of control as any PITTA would be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In November 2013, I started dating a man who is grounded in his words and decisions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Everything he does is slowly but surely. Words are honored, promises are kept. ⠀⠀⠀
Almost 6 years now into our deep relationship, if there is ONE thing I learn and now apply, it’s to SLOW DOWN. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
GIVING MYSELF PERMISSION to slow down. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My favorite way to de-stress is be on flight mode during travel – my writing flows, I can think clearer, coffee tastes better. Birds are louder. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In Bangkok, most of my mornings are shut down and I have a day where I allow myself to receive – massages, love, cuddles, brownies because life needs balance.
